Work Loft reopening May 26
Dear Work Loft Friends and Members,
I am so happy to share some great news with you all! Following today’s ‘Reopen Massachusetts’ Plan rollout by Governor Baker’s office, we are pleased to let you know Work Loft will be open for coworking from Tuesday, May 26th.
The State has provided Guidelines, Tools, and Certification processes for businesses to ensure compliance to rules and best practices for safety. It goes without saying that Work Loft will be relying on and complying with all applicable items as well as providing guidance on expected behavior and conduct for members in the space.
For now, I’d like to give you a preview of our re-designed space:
Room to Stretch Out
The first thing you’ll notice is the vast amount of space between seats. Each seat has a minimum of 6 feet of distance to the nearest seat, and several have over 7 feet of distance. Our new layout offers a total of 14 seats in the open space. Based on concurrent usage data from earlier months, we anticipate being able accommodate seating needs of all members.
Dedicated Desks
Due to demand for dedicated space, we are offering 4 dedicated workstations in the Greenhouse for $450/month. If rented as a dedicated space, it will be for your use only. These workstations are now a whopping 8’ long, and are being retro-fitted with higher dividing panels. The new fabric-covered panels will be made of sound-absorbing materials to enable you to take calls directly at your desk. A monitor and a locking filing cabinet will also be provided, so you can lock sensitive items overnight. Set your desk up as you like, with photos, house plants, an electric tea kettle, whatever. The ultimate in Privacy, our individual offices offer full locking space, are fully furnished, and several of the desks are height-adjustable. We still have a handful of offices available. Reach out to us at info@workloftmhd.com to reserve yours.
Did you know that our Conference Room is equipped with a high-end web cam? Simply connect your laptop to the camera, fire up your conferencing software, and your meeting will be running on the large wall-mounted monitor in the meeting room.
